How I Regained My Hair

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 9:28 am

My hair loss treatment journey begun the day I started to notice my receding hair line and my bald spot growing bigger. The most obvious thing to do was to seek ways to style my hair to conceal my bald spot. I started wearing more hats on the weekends as I went out with my wife, friends or family. Walking in to work every morning was a painful experience without my hat on. Your mind will do that to you when you are experiencing hair loss. It is so true that you never know what you have until you lose it. That can be accurate about your hair loss.

Having suffered from balding, I began to appreciate every strand of hair that I had left. It was as if with each string of hair I lost, so was a small percent of my self-confidence gone as well. A friend of mine had the same problem as me. I observed lately that he seemed so much more relaxed and it looks as though his hair was growing back. I never wanted to bring it up but after a while I decided to ask. That is when I was recommended to Advanced Hair Studio. With just a few treatments my friend Josh had not only regrown his hair, but his self-assurance as well. After seeing what Josh has attained from Advanced Hair, I made up my mind to pay them a visit.

I have to admit that I was a little skeptical at first. But within a few weeks the effects were evident. Not only on my head, but in my attitude. I began to lose the caps on the weekends and I quickly began to feel better about myself. My wife has also observed a change in my day to day behavior as well. It is amazing how just a few trips to the Advanced Hair Studio had begun to change my life as a whole. I have constantly been worried about people discovering my bald spot. Now, I am not scared to look people in the eyes again as I have my full set of self esteem back.

Advance Hair Studio has not only given me back my hair, but a big piece of my life as well. So, if anyone is going through hair loss I highly recommend them. Don’t let your confidence continue to be lost with your hair.

HSE Urges Farmers and Contractors to Work Safely as Harvesting Season Begins

Filed under: Business Affairs, Health Issues — admin @ 3:46 am

The accidental death of a 34-year-old farmer in Fife while working on a potato harvester has led the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to issue warnings to farmers and contractors on following safety regulations concerning the maintenance and use of harvesting equipment.

This latest incident follows on the heels of two similar events that took place earlier. In the first, a Lincolnshire worker received severe cuts while cleaning a chopping mechanism, while in the second case a farmer had his arm badly crushed when it was caught in cleaning rollers.

Tony Mitchell of the HSE said harvesters have been responsible for three deaths in the past seven years, apart from a number of serious injuries. He stressed on the need for proper guidelines for cleaning and maintaining farm machinery. He said farmers have a tendency to take shortcuts, primarily because they are under compulsion to complete their harvest before the rains, and therefore put their life and limb at risk in doing so. Mitchell felt the farmers needed to remember that an accident affects not only the victim but also create problems of livelihood for his family.

Official data shows that 82 people were killed in the months of July to October in the last five years, with these causalities making up almost 50 percent of all deaths in the agricultural sector since 2004-05.

The HSE has now started the ‘Make the promise - Come home safe’ campaign to promote safety among farm workers. The drive, aimed at reducing the death and injury rates among farmers, is meant to spread awareness of the risks in their daily lives from ill handling of farming equipment. The programme has so far received sign-ups from 15,000 members.

It remains that all employers have a duty towards ensuring health and safety of the workers; an IOSH course can be of benefit to organisations in providing the knowledge to manage safely and effectively in compliance with both the organisation’s policy and best practice in health and safety and it can also be tailored to meet the needs of any particular industry - click on IOSH Course for more detail.
