Intelius CEO Naveen Jain attended the First Annual Kairos Summit in New York with other prominent members of the business community. The event was an invite-only gathering organized by The Kairos Society, a nationwide organization of college-age entrepreneurs who are determined to pursue entrepreneurial futures.
World leaders and industry icons gave out the welcome addresses for the breakthrough event. No less than former President Bill Clinton (Clinton Foundation) and Bill Gates (Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) spoke via video to laud the efforts of all young entrepreneurs and innovators in America. In attendance at the Annual Kairos Summit were the who’s who of the business world, including Deborah L. Wince-Smith, president of the Council on Competitiveness; Admiral Bill Owens of AEA Investors; Ellen Kullman, CEO of DuPont; Bill White, president of Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum and Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund; Scott Mednick, founder of Legendary Pictures and Mandalay Entertainment; and Naveen Jain.
Naveen Jain is among the high profile mentors of The Kairos Society. Business leaders who support the society believe that instilling the spirit of entrepreneurship among the young is a necessity, especially in an era where “everything is changing” because of the globalized economy. According to members of the advisory board, the youth are insatiable in terms of knowledge and enthusiasm. With a little direction and guidance, they can become members of a vibrant business community in the years to come. Naveen Jain acknowledges that supporting an organization that aims to inspire and bring out the potential of young aspiring entrepreneurs is something that successful business leaders like him are proud to do.
Intelius was a title sponsor for the First Annual Kairos Summit and is among the initiators for the foundation of The Kairos Society. Ankur Jain, son of the firm’s CEO and a sophomore at Wharton School of Business, is president of The Kairos Society.
